Favorite Week of the Year

Every year, there’s always one week that I really look forward to – the week of E3

That week started last night.

Every year, the video game industry comes together for E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo) to showcase exciting upcoming projects. Every year, I tune in and every year I’m pleasantly surprised.

Last night, EA and Bethesda had their showcases. I missed the EA, but tuned in for Bethesda. I was excited to learn more about Dishonored 2 and Prey. It was even exciting to hear about the Skyrim remaster (and that PC players will get it for free if they already own Skyrim + the DLC – which I do).

Over the next few days, Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo will have their own press conferences highlighting the exciting stuff they have planned for the next year – and beyond. You can be sure that I’ll be watching every minute and dumping plenty of that news here on my blog.

While most of my posts have concentrated on the struggle towards becoming a published writer, this week is the one week that I’ll be posting (exclusively) about something else. In fact, E3 week is the one week where all of my social media streams (Facebook, twitter, and now word press) will be overtaken by game trailers and articles from across the industry.

If you love games, E3 is the week for you. And if you want a ton of info in one place, be sure to stay tuned – and tell your friends, so they can stay up to date on the action too!
