I know I promised massive amounts of E3 posting this week, but I’ve been too busy drowning in Overwatch and gawking at game footage to even think about composing something halfway decent for anyone who happens across my blog.

Rest assured, however, that a massive post is coming.

In the meantime, I’ve been tagged by Nicole Wilson to answer ten questions in this musical blog thing that’s going around. So…thanks to her for the tag!

The rules for The Sunshine Blog are simple:

•  Nominate up to eleven bloggers and write ten questions for them to answer (though I’m new to the blog scene and don’t KNOW any bloggers. Sooo…)

Anyway…here we go:

What is your favorite book/series?

I’m going to cheat and say Dungeons and Dragons (specifically 3.5) – which is technically a book series. Nothing compares with crafting a months long story with friends that takes you to unimaginable places across countless worlds.

But if you want me to say a specific book, it would have to be The Lord of the Rings. I’ve read the trilogy twice and both times loved it. Though it plods in some areas, it informed my view of fantasy and adventure. It’s been a while since I last read the trilogy, but I still use it as a metric for sweeping adventure. Rarely is anything able to conjure the feeling of nostalgia and grandeur that LotR can. Some video games have come close – specifically The Elder Scrolls series – but no books.

If you were a Jedi, what color would you Lightsaber be?

This is a super difficult question and I spent so much more time thinking about it than I probably should have. I have settled on an answer, however – red. Basically, the color I typically keep my Keyboard/Mouse LED lights (but another good option is purple).

Android or Apple?

Android…forever. I’m not a fan of Apple – never have been.

If you could be best friends with any Avenger, why do you choose AntMan?

Why wouldn’t you be besties with AntMan?

Where do you like to write/read?

I love to write wherever I can. Sometimes, I even start texting lines to myself when they suddenly strike me and I’m not near a computer. Otherwise, as long a there is a keyboard within reach, writing is fair game (Google Drive makes doing this a breeze. I totally suggest it to any writers who switch computers a lot). Reading is something I typically enjoy doing in my armchair, or in bed, or on planes – anywhere I can be comfortable, really.

Dogs or cats?

KITTIES! I have two! They are black! I love kitties!

Do you prefer rainy days or sunny days?

Rainy days. They’ve always felt more cozy to me (as if the thick rain clouds are forming a roof on the world) and the sound of rain is soothing.

What is your favorite color on a pair of socks?

Pink is a fantastic color. Especially when you mix it with navy blue…pairs very well with slacks…very functional.

How many books do you read in a month?

Honestly? Zero (I know…I’m super terrible). When it comes to reading, I have to find something that really grabs me, otherwise, I’ll never finish the work. For instance, I got through books 1-3 of GoT, but can’t make it through the fourth…it’s just that bad. Same with the Wheel of Time series. The first book was ok, but it just didn’t hold my interest enough for me to finish book two. Science fiction tends to do it for me, but I don’t read it nearly as much as I should. That’s probably because I spend so much time playing video games…

On a scale of 1-10 (1 being “I love it”, 10 being “I love it so much my heart might explode”), how much do you love cookie dough?

I typically prefer my cookie dough cooked (because cookies are the best). Unless it’s in ice cream. When it’s in ice cream, you’d better hide that half gallon, because you’re about to not have any more chocolate chip cookie dough in your freezer…

As I stated above, I don’t really have any other blog people to send the questions to. But if anyone stumbles across this post and feels like answering some random questions, here are my ten:

1. What type of food is your favorite? (And let’s make this a hard one. I’m talking ethnicity – Chinese, Caribbean, German, etc.)
2. What type of entertainment is your favorite – TV, Video games, books, music, other? Why?
3. Everyone loves at least ONE cult classic movie. Which one do you love? Why?
4. If you could drive ANY car, what would you drive?
5. If you could live in any place for a year, where would you live? Why?
6. If given the opportunity, would you go to the International Space Station?
