Busy Weeks

I’m all over the place right now…

Since my last cluster of posts, the landscape of my writing has changed quite a bit. I still plan on editing Over the Edge again, but that’s on the back burner right now.

This is because I’ve spend the last few weeks doing some beta reading and recharging. Writing and editing Infinity’s Heir was difficult and after I felt “done” with the story, I really needed some rest time.

And during that rest time, things seemed to shift.

I finished the beta read and got more feedback on Infinity’s Heir. This prompted me to do some more editing of the first three chapters, which are now much better than they were. On top of that, I was struck by some inspiration that helped me add another 3K words to my YA scifi novel (still unnamed).

And this is why Over the Edge is on the back burner.

I guess it’s also worth mentioning that all of this unexpected work has managed to push Missing Parts into the background, as well. But I’m not really feeling bad about that. I like the story and I feel good about it, but my passions aren’t pushing me to finish that manuscript right now.

The most important part is that I’m happy with what I’m working on!
