Back in September, I sent out some queries for Infinity’s Heir as part of a submission event. And I got a partial request from one of those submissions. It’s been with the agent for a bit now and I’m not expecting to hear back for a few months, but I’m excited.
(I’m a bit late with the news, but better late than never, right?)
I’ve talked about it before on my blog, but the chances of being published are less than 1%. The simple fact that my space opera managed to garner a partial is nothing short of amazing. Of course, I’ll be a sad panda if the agent decides not to read the rest of the work, but I’m happy that someone was interested enough to read through a portion of the novel.
Most likely, it means that someone else will be willing to read through it, as well.
For now, I’m keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that a full request comes my way sooner or later (hopefully sooner).
And while I’m at it, a big “Thank You” to everyone who stops by the blog. You help me realize that I’m not the only one out there doing this. We’re all amazing for writing our hearts out and sooner or later, we’ll all get to where we’re trying to go.
Thanks Again!
