One More Time

Yesterday, I was considering retiring Over the Edge.

Today, I’ve started another edit of the manuscript.

This morning, I looked at my (still massive) query list for the novel and decided that I can do better.

I might not be the best writer (and I certainly have a whole lot more to learn), but that doesn’t mean I can’t try to be the best.

And, honestly, that means going through Over the Edge one more time.

The story is where I want it to be, but the writing can always be fine tuned, streamlined, and shoehorned into a better place. With this latest edit, I aim to do that. And when I start sending it to agents again, I hope that they can see the time I’ve put into the work and appreciate the finely tuned writing. At this point, that’s the most I can really hope for.

That, and an offer of representation.

If I do best, that will come. But only if I do my best.

Sounds like a plan. Would you like another beta reader? Best Rob

Beta readers are always appreciated. Though, I worry Over the Edge will be far less of a novel when I’m through with the latest edit. We’ll see.
