Honesty time…

I’ve been terrible at this blog thing. At first, it felt really cool to post a bunch of updates about what I was working on, but as I got busier, something had to be put by the wayside. And Storm at Sea was the unfortunate casualty.

But with a new year comes new opportunities!

Resolutions are basically a meme at this point, but there’s no harm in making an honest effort towards being better. And since I focus so much on writing, it’s only fair that I shift some of that to my blog.

So, that said, here are my plans for 2019:

1. A Complete Rework – I’ve already changed a few things, but the site sorely needs a rework. Expect significant changes over the coming weeks.
2. Monthly Updates – In the past, I’ve been inconsistent with how often I update the site, but in 2019, I want to post one blog entry a month. My goal with each post is to update everyone on what I’m doing. Since writing is a slow, arduous process, some posts might be shorter than others, but I’m sure I can find something to talk about…
3. Video Blogs(?) – I’d really like to start looking into the possibility of doing some of these. Keep an eye out for updates over the next few weeks.
4. More – As always, I’d love to hear from all of you about things you want to see on my blog. Let me know, and I’ll add it to the list!

Making promises is one thing, but following through is something else entirely. But after working so hard to finish Missing Parts in 2018 (I cranked out over 50k words in the final few months of the year – a promise that was HARD to keep), I’m feeling very enthusiastic about what I can do if I stay focused.
